The Principal's Paw Print - pg.1
Hello Lakemont Friends,
Our school is studying Antarctica in April. Brrr! We hope to stay cool with our travels this month! We have already studied the other six continents during the year and we look forward to learning more about each of them. Our trip to 1500 Falcon Drive this year has been an "adventure around the world" for us but we still look forward to coming home this summer to 901 North Lakemont Avenue. Our new school is right on schedule and it is looking fantastic. New computers, furniture, books and innovative technologies are in the process of being purchased and installed. It is going to be a beautiful place to learn. Our fabulous students are the heart of our success, though, both here and when we move back home. They work hard to excel in their studies. FCAT testing for grades 3 to 5 went very well in March. Our student are always ready with a positive attitude. Each week all year we have studied a different Leopard Life Skill that relates to a wide variety of good manners and kindnesses to others, from saying "yes, ma'am" to "thank you".
