Hi! I am Mrs. Vierling and I have been teaching for 24 years in Orange County. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1982, married my husband Dan, and moved to Orlando. My first teaching job was at Shenandoah Elementary from 1982-1990. In the fall of 1990, a new school named Bay Meadows was opening and I accepted a 5th grade teaching position. The next year, I moved to 2nd grade and have taught there ever since.
I have 2 beautiful daughters, Erin and Emily. Erin is 21 years old and is a senior at The University of West Florida, majoring in Elementary Education. Emily is 14 years old and is a freshman at Boone High School. Through the years, I have seen many changes in Orange County Public Schools, as well as Bay Meadows and the Southwest community. Being a Dr. Phillips resident, I take great pride in the community as well as our wonderful school.
