About Think and Explore |
|
Think and Explore class is the place you go to get your brain juices flowing. Each grade level group of gifted students from Aloma Elementary, Azalea Park Elementary, and Cheney Elementary, meets once a week to put on our thinking caps and broaden our horizons by learning new and exciting material. Gifted students don’t need extra work or harder work, what they need is work that allows them to dig deeper for an underlying meaning or message and then use their own ideas and thoughts to solidify and construct that knowledge in a way that makes sense to them. Our classroom is a playing field and the students are the athletes. We are constantly moving. Whether we are participating in small groups, working on projects, or buzzing in literature or math related discussions we are always thinking and exploring the world around us. |
