What's New In Kindergarten!
This week we will continue our Fall unit. We are learning about the changes that trees go through during the four seasons. In science we are learning about living and non-living things. We have been busy making a book about trees, Fall leaves and discussing how living things grow and change.
Thank you for the great response for our 50th day of school and Fall celebration days coming up. Our room moms will contact you with the specifics for times and which supplies are needed. They will both be great days for the students!
This week our sound is /n/. I have been re-testing the children for letter recognition and am very pleased with the results! Our main focus will be on letter sounds and short vowel word families. This week the children made their own apple -at family slide card. Please take a few moments to review all of their -at words.
Thanks to all of the mommies that have been helping out. It makes a huge difference!
