Homework -- Homework is a very important component of the SRA Reading Program

Every night (Monday through Thursday and occassionally weekends) students in all of the resource SRA reading programs will have homework/independent work. This daily practice emphasizes and reinforces pronunciation, letter combinations, word discriminations, word reading, accurate story reading, and rate/fluency building. Besides the progress students will make when they complete their homework every night, it is an intregral part of their grade. Please work with your child every night on their SRA reading homework sheet. It will make a difference!
