I have been teaching Special Education for 20 years. The past 3 years I have been teaching at UPE in the ESE Resource Room. At UPE I have had the opportunity to work and learn with some wonderful teachers and students. I believe that learning to read is the most important skill a child needs for success now and for the future. I believe that every child can learn to read and I will work hard to ensure that each child reads to their fullest potential.

My husband, Bill and I have been married for 33 years. We have two sons, Jason and Dan. I love living in Florida, traveling, reading, home decorating and gardening.
