Visual Arts Standards
All lessons in the art room follow the Florida Sunshine State Standards for the Visual arts, incorporating cultural study, media and materials exploration, application to life and art career understanding, and creative skill buildings designed to reinforce and supplement skills learned in the general classroom. The focus for the art room is to explore the multiple ways available to express ourselves creatively and learn about art, artists, and all that art does to shape our lives.
