OCPS and the state provide a professional network that can serve to promote and improve library media service. Active participation in these associations provides the library media specialist opportunities to attain a high level of professional growth

District Resources

  1. OCPS learning communities.  Each learning community makes plans for area meetings to share information.  Collaboration with curriculum resource teachers, learning resource teachers, technology coordinators and other resource personnel may occur at this level.  In-service points may be accrued for attendance at these meetings. Access the OCPS district website at http://intranet.ocps.net for general information, school directions, etc.
  2. OCPS personnel.  This list will need to be updated regularly.  Contact OCPS Community Relations Office for current information.
  3. OCPS media distribution list.  An OCPS e-mail account is required for access.
  4. Orange County Association of Educational Media (OCAEM)
