Marley: A Dog Like No Other, is a book about a giant destructive yellow lab. Marley loves to cause problems. First, he chews through walls, because of his fear of thunderstorms. Also, he eats stuff he is not supposed to such as paychecks and jewelry.. He is very energetic and has a movement called a Marley Mambo, where his whole body shakes. Marley causes lots of damage and problems but is a dog John Grogan will never forget. He is definitely a dog with a pure heart. This is my favorite book because of all the funny things Marley does and makes happen. I think John Grogan wrote a great book for kids to read. You should definitely check your library or book store for this book.

Bad Dog Marley by John Grogan
In a little house there lived a family of four people. There was a mommy, a daddy, a little girl named Cassie and a baby boy named Louie. The kids begged and begged for a puppy. They had to wait a while but one day when daddy came home he had a PUPPY! The puppy named Marley ate things that were not in his food dish. He drank from places other than is dish. He grew so big. He chewed everything, he tripped over his water bowl and ate Daddy's pay check. He chewed through the walls. I think Bad Dog Marley is a great way for younger children to see how Marley acted.
