How to get your own web space

Here's how you can get your own web space on the OCPS teachers.ocps.net server. For training and/or web space:

  • Attend a one day training called "Easier Web Pages for Teachers"
  • Complete an online course called "Web Procedures" available at http://pdsonline.ocps.net Login at this site with your OCPS personnel number and your regular email password. The first time you login, you will have to put in some personal information. After saving, you will see Web Procedures "Enroll Me" under Recommended Courses. It usually takes a day or 2 for your account to be created. You will receive an email when it is ready.

Easier Web Pages for Teachers - Level 1, Easier Web Pages for Teachers - Level 2, Dreamweaver and many other classes are posted at signmeup.ocps.net.

Weblog Feature

Once you obtain your teachers.ocps.net account, you will be ready to activate your weblog. Go to http://teachers.ocps.net/users and look for the link at the top right side of the page that says "Create Your Weblog" or view the movie here.
