UPE Girls Club
I established the Girls Club while I was an Assistant Principal at Union Park Elementary. The purpose of this club is to promote academic achievement and a sense of service to the community in a selected group of 5th grade girls.
Our members this year were: Anitza H., Denise and Denisha J, Jasmine S., Genesis R., Shanice W., Van P., Linda N., and Brianna J.
The girls participated in the Orange County 4H Speech Contest. Denisha J. won first place and Anitza H. took second place.
Our community service project is a food drive benefiting the Union Park Neighborhood Center for Families pantry. We hope you will support our community service project. In each grade leavel, the class that brings the most food items will win a cupcake party. Thanks for your support!
