Weekly Morning Tasks These weekly learning tools are archived here for you to use. On Friday afternoon's Miss Kelly will put the new Opinion, Munchy, and Number for the coming week on the student section of the web site (so that they can get early access over the weekend) and will move last week's content to the archived pages below. |
|
Opinion Continuum comes from a Jim Delisle workshop from over a decade ago. This is a fantastic morning activity which engages kids in a success first thing in the morning and engages them in justifying their thinking in an informal way. For an explanation of Opinion Continuum, click here. |

| "Morning Munchies" is another morning getting-started learning tool. Fluency and flexibility are encouraged in these no-wrong-answers-possible questions! | |
| Number of the Day provides learners with a number to contemplate each week. Their task is to try to connect the number to their personal knowledge banks and to entertain an interesting collection of possibilities without having an immediate resolution. While I will have a particular statistic in mind, there are many possible successful connections that can be made. | |
Oldies But Goodies These weekly tools have been used throughout the years, but are not currently being used. |
